It must be egg laying time in Maryland. Richard was trimming the bushes and saw this robin's nest nestled in one of them with four perfect little blue eggs. Obviously he put off trimming that particular one. The frogs have been busy as well with this nice batch of caviar on one of our lily pads.
All in all it has been a pleasant weekend gardening and shopping in Annapolis. Richard now has a new laptop and is having fun transferring his files from the old one, actually pretty easy on a Mac. He also planted quite a few new bushes, Rhododendrons and Hydrangeas. Slowly, slowly we are implementing my sister Alice's wonderful planting plan. It has been a good year for planting with all the rain.
I have been getting back into the swing of things. I managed to get to the pool twice last week and am doing more qigong. It feels good to feel good!
Welcome Janet Edwards, Richard's sister, as our latest follower!
