A bright spot in a dismal week

The economy is looking dismal but I am always cheered up when I visit one of our ACE Mentoring sessions and see that the students are doing so well. In case you are not familiar with ACE, it is an after-school program for high school students that encourages them to go into careers in architecture, engineering and construction management. They work on a project together and generally get really excited about it as you can see from the photo where they are brainstorming. I am the secretary for the group and I also do publicity.

The election was exciting and I am glad that Obama won but I fear the tasks he has ahead of him. At least he is communicative and upbeat so I think he will do well.

On the health front I keep improving. Hooray!
