New sign
Today we put up a new sign on the property (below). It is sort of like the old one -- a blue heron head (top photo) The beak broke off. Every three years or so we make a new sign because the drift wood rots. Hopefully this one will last for awhile. The leaves have started turning more near the water today and the weather is really beautiful. We took several long walks today and worked a bit on the property. Richard planted several little pines. They grow slow here but hopefully things will look better next year.
