We have stopped in at a fancy resort in Petoskey for a couple of days near the shores of Lake Michigan. This is a very froo-froo club for motor coaches that has just opened. Because of the opening we are staying here for free! Not too shabby. There are a myriad trees, ponds, fountains and mini-waterfalls. There is also a clubhouse with a pool, tennis courts, golf practice course, weight room, etc, etc. It's not really the type of thing we would go for but it is nice to stop in and take a long shower with the unlimited water hookup.We had a beautiful day yesterday and did some touring around and shopping. Today is quite blustery so we did a trip to Harbor Springs in the jeep. Very quaint town with lots of nice architecture and a beautiful waterfront.
Can't believe that we will be heading home soon. Just when I was getting used to being a carefree nomad!
