Into the wild, well sort of

So here we are back in civilization. We had a refreshing break at Shenandoah National Park high up in the mountains. It was nice to feel cool breezes again. The dogs took us hiking several times and we did need the exercise, mostly to work off all the good food we brought with us!

Notice that we managed to park the giant coach very close to yon tree!

It was all glorious until we had to return and to our dismay there was a 5-hour backup getting across the Bay Bridge. Earlier in the day a semi-truck had plowed though the bridge and landed in the water. It was a mess with everyone trying to get home. However, we did notice that it is much easier to be stuck in traffic in a coach rather than a car!
