How much more snow do we need?

Richard and I ventured out this morning around 10am and measured 14 inches and it is still coming down like crazy. Just the walk out to the car was exhausting because it was so thick and heavy. 24 inches by the end of the day is entirely possible. Anyway, I will try to get another pic later but I may not get all the way out to the car -- that is a trek! The Schips love the snow but they cannot get very far, too short. As you can see Tater ventured forth with us and did pretty well in our tracks for a smallish dog.

Not sure what I will do today but I am thinking about making some soup and other such things. Reading would be fun too. Pray that our power stays on. We are wondering now if they will dig us out by Monday! The county plow did come by and Richard got the jeep out to the road but we will not know the end of this until late tonight.
