Yesterday (Christmas Eve) we drove down to Little Talbot Island for a hike and lo, there we found an armadillo happily rooting by the roadside. He was so busy he did not mind me snapping his photo (silly human!). He did get a bit uncomfortable when the dogs started barking though. Primitive little bugger - he does appear to have a bit of furry of stuff on the underbelly and isn't the armor amazing?We woke up to a humid Christmas morning. Time for tee shirts and shorts! Opened up presents from Mother, Alice and Trish and Phil. Nice to enjoy the strawberry jam and McVitties Digestives that were in the boxes among other fun things. There is an independent radio station in Jacksonville, Jones College that plays non-stop Christmas music. We have been enjoying that as well as CDs that Alice sent us.
Plans for the day? Probably hiking in the park here and a bit more R and R. Merry Christmas Everyone!!
