A few months ago I felt terrible. I had shortness of breath, slept a lot and felt nauseous most of the time. Finally I decided I had enough and figured I would attack the problem on several levels. I was not going to let the c-beast get the best of me! First I found a terrific massage therapist who took a real interest in my case. Next I went back to warm pool physical therapy. Also my acupuncturist suggested weekly appointments to keep me going. And that's not all because the nausea thing was driving me crazy so I did some research and got the best suggestions from my acupuncturist. One was Kombucha tea, ahhh, tastes a bit like vinegar as it is fermented but I quite like the taste and find I can buy it bottled from my local health food store. And then there is Bubbies Sauerkraut, the best! I now eat a few spoonfuls of that with every meal. I found that at my local health food store as well - what would I do without them! I also cut out sugar and dairy, well cheese. I don't think that either of those items were doing me any good either. Now I have so much energy. I feel like a real person again! I still have a bit of soreness in my hip. My PT thinks it is a pulled hamstring and I am inclined to agree.
Something that really helped too was a visit from by sister Alice and brother-in-law, Paul. They were so helpful and good company too. Just after that my friend Barbara and her hubbie Dave, dropped by. I can't tell you how encouraging that was. Everyday I feel better. Hooray hooray. I hope it lasts and hope that my present med, Xeloda, is working as well. Stay tuned!

Yes, I was going to ferment my own then I discovered Bubbies. Tastes very fresh.
